Hotel Sales Manager, Cardiff
The Package
To £25k per annum + outstanding career progression and in-house training / development & benefits
The CompanyInternational group of large luxury hotels.City centre locations, stylish and luxury hotel rooms, on-site restaurants, bars and events (to include banqueting and corporate).
The RoleTo maximize hotel revenue and guest satisfaction by
- Securing local corporate contracts and increasing market share
- Maintaining a minimum of 12 quality appointments per week with past, potential or existing clients in and outside the hotel
- Regularly attending networking events in local business community
- Performing agency & client presentations nationwide when required
- Taking responsibility for all in-house guest activities, customer rewards, Goldpoints and customer / conference feedback program
- Selling all hotel services professionally and creating successful campaigns
- Performing various admin tasks, database mining, mailings, reports, cold calling and lead generating by analyzing historical data
- Assisting other sales departments when required
Applicant should be proactive, outgoing, flexible in working hours, enterprising and results oriented.A ll work is carried out in line with the hotel’s guidelines and sales business plan, and corporate guidelines and service concepts.

- Creative thinking: implenting strategies to ensure continual turnover and growth on business / sales.
- Effective sales ability
