Management Couple - Food led pub – Monmouthshire
The Package
Circa £25,000 per annum
Free live-in apartment
The Company
Recently undergoing a refurbishment the pub is aiming to be the best carvery in the area. Attracting locals and tourists this will be a busy and popular venue.
The Role
The successful couple will be in charge of both overseeing the kitchen operation and the front of house team and service supported by an existing team currently in place.
You will have full responsibility for the running of the venue and must be customer driven.You will both display high standards and promote a real team culture. You will be accountable for driving both wet and dry sales, profit and loss, legislation of health and safety and licensing; stock management and training and development of your team.
What We Are Looking For
Successful couples will preferably possess / be able to demonstrate the following:
§ Proven abilities in working within a similar environment.
§ Experience of organising events.
§ Kitchen – competent in cooking and delivering great British food and experience of managing a profitable and efficient kitchen.
§ Personal License holder.
§ Strong business skills, excellent management experience and financial awareness.
§ Dynamic and passionate about hospitality, people and success.
§ Ideally this position is to start in 3 weeks.
