Kitchen Manager, Cardiff

 

The Package

To £28,000, depending on experience.

Company bonus package.

45 hours per week to coincide with retail hours.

The Role

We are looking for a talented Kitchen Manager to lead the team at one of the Cardiff City Centres most popular and busiest restaurants. You will need flair with ingredients, an ability to stay calm when the pressure mounts and strong leadership skills, to motivate our team members. You will have a passion for food, a keen eye for detail and experience working within a branded restaurant. You will fit into this talented team and help push the restaurant forward, whilst maintaining company standards. Helping create new recipes, maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, managing food purchasing and storage. Would also suit an experience Sous chef looking to further their career.

Successful Kitchen Manager Candidates will preferably possess / be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience within a fast paced branded operation.


• Ability to maintain the highest standards at all times and a keen eye for detail.


• Creative thinking - top Kitchen Managers are visionaries who rely on innovative thinking to develop and implement strategies and menu ideas.


• Organised and hands-on to ensure optimal service to customers and staff.


• Great team player and motivator with the passion for creativity.


• Clean and Organised


• Excellent working references / recommendations from previous employers.
