Part Time Wedding and Events Duty Manager, Near Cardiff

The Package

Circa £25,000 pro rata (Based on 24 hours a week) plus overtime as agreed.

The Role

Our Client is seeking a hard-working, hands-on individual to help manage the Front of House for the weekend wedding and events business from Friday to Sunday, working directly with the public in a fast paced hospitality environment

The Part Time Wedding & Events Duty Manager will be responsible for working with customers and management of the public facing areas of the building before, during and after events 3 days a week. These will be mainly weddings but can also include lunches, teas and performance events. The role is very hands on and is both demanding and rewarding, you should not be afraid to get stuck in to any task.

This is not a standard venue or a standard job - we are seeking a practically minded candidate with a genuine passion for the hospitality arena who is looking for a challenge to work in this unique and beautiful historic venue.

Successful individuals will preferably possess / be able to demonstrate the following:

• Ability to maintain the highest standards at all times and a keen eye for detail.
• Organised and hands-on to ensure optimal service to customers and staff.
• Great team player and motivator.

· Proven track record in the hospitality sector.

• Knowledge of the wider local area.
• An excellent communicator, both with colleagues and clients.
• Excellent working references / recommendations from previous employers.
