Multi-national corporate caterer, specialising in fresh food and exceptional customer service.  This award winning contract catering company is continually expanding and invests a great deal into employees, so there’s plenty of room for progression.

The Role

We are looking for a self-motivated, innovative and organised chef manager to manage and run the catering operation at this business site for hundreds of people daily. The hours are mainly Monday to Friday, although some weekend work is expected at times to cover business demands.

This unit provides fresh food in the staff/retail restaurant offering breakfast and lunch service consisting of grab and go, deli bar and hot offer in addition to a small hospitality offer. This contract caterer is one of the largest independent caterers that pride themselves on producing fresh seasonal food follow current food trends and food on the high street passionate.

As chef manager you will report to the group manager and be fully responsible for all financials such as costings and meeting a monthly budget. As this is a fairly large operation you will be managing a close team of 7-8 staff and therefore the ideal chef manager will need to be extremely hands on and be able to cope with the administration side as well as running the kitchen on a daily basis.
