Chef de Partie, Bridgend

The Company
Medium sized 3 Star Hotel and leisure club with extensive conference and banqueting for up to 250 guests, fresh a la carte and table d’hote menus for up to 80 covers.
The Role
As Chef de Partie within this brigade of 5, you will run your own section while assisting in all areas of this busy kitchen.
As Chef de Partie you will be the support service for all the chefs, learn the art of creative catering and strive to retain the excellent reputation this hotel boasts.
You must have previous experience either as a senior Commis or Chef de Partie within a large banqueting environment.
Working hours vary (circa 40-45 hours per week) on a rota system, using earlies, splits and straight shifts. You will receive meals on duty, uniform and accommodation if required.
What We Are Looking For
Successful Chef de Partie candidates will preferably possess / be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Previous experience within an hotel environment, preferably focusing on banqueting.
  • Organised and hands-on to ensure optimal service to customers and staff.
  • Great team player and motivator with the passion for creativity.
  • Excellent working references / recommendations from previous employers.
