ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER 

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join this family run restaurant in Cardiff city centre. This restaurant proudly serves a varied, constantly changing, menu of modern British food with Welsh, French and New York inspired influences. 

As an integral part of the team, the Assistant Manager will be tasked with supporting the General Manager in the daily running of the Restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and learn more about running a restaurant, whilst supporting a popular city centre venue. 

 

Assistant Manager Duties:

- Motivating your restaurant team to deliver great customer service 

- Training and developing your restaurant team to maximise their potential

- Opening, closing and the daily running of the restaurant 

- Meeting and exceeding your set budgets/targets 

- Managing stock control to minimise wastage

- Supporting your General Manager 

 

Assistant Manager Requirements:

- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager within a restaurant is essential

- Strong management and customer focused background 

- Positive, happy and energetic attitude 

- Be authentic, dynamic and hands on 

- Thrive on personal development

- A can-do attitude and passion for working in hospitality

- Ability to thrive under pressure whilst being a brilliant motivator and inspiring your team within a professional but fun environment.
