The Company
Our client operates a rural, award-winning Hotel set within 10 acres of Hertfordshire countryside. This site has a fantastic turnover of weddings and conferences along with a multi-rosette restaurant. The site has gone through expansion to increase the offering and to keep our client at the top of the rural country hotels. This privately owned Hotel has all the best equipment and facilities to cater for an array of guest needs.
The role
We are currently looking to recruit a Deputy Restaurant Manager to assist in the management of this rosette awarded restaurant. Key responsibilities of this role will involve ensuring the level of service is maintained and exceeded by yourself and your staff. The role of Deputy Restaurant Manager will also involve ensuring guest satisfaction and repeat business. We are ideally looking for Deputy Restaurant Manager with a great personality that is able to become the face of the restaurant and ensure that guests remember their experience. You will be given responsibility of the daily operation and involve the management of all services during the week, which will include Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. You will also be involved heavily in staff training and development. This is a great opportunity for an experienced restaurant professional to build on their management experience and pick up valuable experience. Our client has specified that candidates for this role are required to have a good experience in busy, awarded restaurants along with an expertise in food and wine.
