Due to an in-house promotion, a popular wedding and Event Venue near Bath known for hosting over 50 occasions a year, this Event Venue is now seeking a talented Sous Chef to join their team. With a salary ranging from £32,000 to £37,500, the opportunity to join in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, access to fresh, local produce for crafting culinary creations, and no split shifts to promote a better work-life balance.

As a Sous Chef at this renowned venue near Bath, you'll play a crucial role where you'll be working with fresh ingredients, preparing delicious menus, and contribute to memorable events by collaborating with the Head Chef to plan and execute menus for various events. Your responsibilities will also include supervising the brigade to ensure smooth service, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, assisting with inventory management and supply ordering, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

This venue are looking for someone with a hungry personality, a passion for cooking and creating exceptional dishes, a strong work ethic, and pride in delivering high-quality cuisine. We value enthusiasm and creativity in the kitchen, and previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef is desirable. Due to the location being outside of Bath, we recommend candidates having their own transport.
