The Client

CSI is a specialist employment agency and business for the catering & hospitality industry.  We have 10 branch offices throughout the UK , each spearheaded by ex-industry professionals.  Our international division recruit for executive and managerial positions globally.

The Role

As a Relief Chef you will be required to assist in short term, seasonal or long term assignments from Country House hotels, restaurants, gastro pubs to contract / industrial catering, schools, sporting events and more within the Plymouth , Torquay and Exeter areas.

Some assignments could mean many shifts from 1 - 2 days, but potentially we do have clients asking for weeks and months and possible permanent vacancies area available from these Temp roles.  We also have live-in nationwide roles and permanent roles globally.

What We Are Looking For

Successful individuals will preferably possess / be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous proven experience within similar roles (HEAD, SOUS, CDP, PASTRY)
  • Qualified to NVQ level 2 or equivalent & Food hygiene certificate.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Organised and hands-on to ensure optimal service to customers and staff.
  • Excellent working references / recommendations from previous employers.

Own transport a great advantage.  Some vacancies subject to CRB/DBS clearance.
