Our client operates a beautiful coastal inn with rooms. Located on the scenic Cornish coast, this award winning venue has an outstanding reputation for quality food using local produce whilst providing a relaxing and charming environment.
All food is sourced locally and is of only the very best quality, so here you can enjoy award winning food and breathtaking views.
The Role
We require a talented and experienced chef to come on board and take over Sous Chef responsibilities in this award winning kitchen. If you have a passion for fresh food and quality menus then this is the role for you. All produce here is sourced locally and food miles are kept to an absolute minimum. This position would suit either a current Sous Chef looking for a new challenge in a top quality kitchen or even a talented Senior Chef de Partie looking for their first Sous position.
What we are looking for
· Have senior level experience in a Rosette level gastro kitchen
· Be passionate, hardworking and creative
· Be able to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
· Ability to create tasty menu’s when needed
· Have a knowledge of all kitchen procedures and finances
