Sous Chef - £27,000 Package - Busy Restaurant - Somerset

Circa £23,000 per annum

Plus £3,000 - £4,000 tips per annum

The Company

Our client operates a stunning restaurant set in a village location in Somerset. Our client enjoys a very strong trade from local clientele and is continuing to modernise and improve their offering. With a passion for fresh, locally sourced produce, our client is seeking additional personnel to join this friendly and awarded brigade.

The role

We are looking to recruit an experienced and confident Sous Chef to join this kitchen brigade. The role will include consistently producing food to a high standard and overseeing the quality of the product. This role will suit a strong Junior Sous Chef looking for their first Sous Chef role or an existing Sous Chef looking for a fresh challenge in this beautiful location. Successful applicants are desired to have knowledge of working with fresh, nature inspired menus.

Working 2 split shifts and 3 straight shifts, key parts of this role will be to oversee the department in the absence of the Head Chef along with staff development and menu production. This is a great opportunity to get your ideas on to a highly regarded menu.

Due to the remote location, candidates are required to have their own transport.
