The Company
Our client operates a small village hotel renowned for its casual fine dining offering. This intimate venue offers delicious locally sourced cuisine cooked and served to an exceptional standard and has received a collection of awards to prove it. This restaurant with rooms has a warm, welcoming and has a friendly feel throughout. Situated in Somerset, this establishment is definitely the jewel of the village.
The role
We are looking to recruit a Sous Chef to join this small and tight knit kitchen brigade. The role will involve consistently producing food to a strong rosette standard. This role will suit a strong Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous looking for their first Sous Chef role or an existing Sous Chef looking for a fresh challenge in this beautiful location. Successful applicants are desired to have knowledge of rosette kitchens and have previous experience of working with fresh and seasonal menus.
This is a fantastic opportunity to have a say in the menu development and dish design. The perfect candidate will be able to nurture this young team and develop the skills of the brigade. Due to the remote location, candidates are required to have their own transport.
The perfect Sous Chef candidate will have bags of enthusiasm, ability to control a small brigade and experience in a rosette awarded environment.
