The Company
Our client operates an independently owned, town centre restaurant. Recently under new ownership this restaurant is now looking to gain multiple rosette recognition. With a variety of dining styles this venue is bound to have something to suit you mood. With bar and restaurant areas this is the ideal place to relax and unwind after work or dress up for a special occasion. Serving fresh, seasonal, home cooked food the kitchen is under the guidance of an experienced, talented Head Chef.
The role
We are looking to employ an experienced chef to take over Sous Chef responsibilities and assist our Head Chef. Shifts would consist of split and straight shifts, working five days out of seven. This would suit an experienced Junior Sous or Sous Chef looking for a new challenge. Responsibilities would involve assisting with the running of the kitchen. An enthusiasm for fresh seasonal ingredients is essential. Due to the rural location your own transport is a must.
What We Are Looking For
· Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:
· Previous experience at Senior Chef de Partie level or higher.
· Experience working with fresh seasonal produce.
· Previous experience working in rosette kitchens is desirable.
· Excellent people, man-management, organisation, and communication skills.
· A passion for quality food and ensuring a consistent guest experience.
