To £12.50 per hour

Working hours available are Monday to Friday 11.00 - 19.00. If you can do some or all of these hours, get in touch.

Kitchen Porter Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.


• Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.


• Ensure that all food handling and safety regulations are strictly followed.


• Buss tables and assist with serving during peak hours or special events.


• Help set up and break down banquet events as needed.


• Support chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks to enhance productivity.


• Clean work areas, including floors, countertops, and storage spaces.


• Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and reporting shortages.

Kitchen Porter Requirements

• We are seeking a Kitchen Porter with previous experience in a similar position


• A Kitchen Porter with familiarity with food safety standards.


• A Kitchen Porter will need excellent cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain high standards of hygiene.


• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while following instructions from chefs and supervisors.


• This role is school based and subject to an enhanced DBS check. Please only apply if you are prepared to undertake a DBS check.
