This esteemed tuition provider located in the heart of the Cotswolds, is looking for a Head Housekeeper to join their friendly team, on a part time basis. With over 50 years in the business, this Client has a long history of delivering results. Working as part of a team the Head Housekeeper role provides support to the main property and also to the on site accommodation, within a lovely working environment.

Package at a Glance;

• £13.00-£15.00 per hour / up to £27,375 for a 35 hour week (the FTE would be up to £29,330)


• 27.5 – 35.0 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Leading a small team of housekeepers and manage the cleaning rota.


• Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques and safety protocols.


• Servicing bedrooms to a high standard which includes hoovering, changing and making beds, dusting and emptying bins.


• Cleaning bathrooms within bedrooms.


• Servicing study and lecture rooms as well as communal areas.


• Assisting with conference and meeting room set ups, furniture layouts and movements across site.


• Ensure adequate stock of equipment is available and where necessary requests for replenishments are submitted to line manager in a timely manner.


• Completion of general maintenance tasks, item movements, painting and decorating, alongside many other general works requested by the management team (either in person or by booking a contractor)


• Completing and collating paperwork such as delivery notes, post and others as required ensuring compliance to the document management process.

• Experience of a minimum of 1 year, in a similar role.
