Job Description
The Head Cook will be first in command in the kitchen, enforcing the company’s specifications and guidelines. You will employ culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and improving the guest’s satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities:
- To be able to work independently in a calm, mature and professional manner
- Knowledge on multi-cultural cuisines and cooking styles (halal, kosher etc.)
- Support the kitchen in the preparation and design of food menus
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets the quality standards
- Plan and direct food preparation when necessary
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
