Job Description
A charming establishment located in the picturesque suburbs of Stroud – is seeking an energetic, charismatic, and passion-driven General Manager to lead their team to success. To run a countryside pub with rooms from day to day. Must be hands on and competent leader and have strong hospitality connection. Must be well versed in not just serving but cellar training, management, accounting, marketing and H&S.
General Manager
- Competitive salary up to £45K per annum.
- Approximately £450-£500 per month tronc
- Two days off per week – Mondays & Tuesdays
- Free Parking
- Free Meals on Duty
- 40-45 hours per week.

What They Are Looking For:
Essential Experience in Hospitality: You must know the industry inside and out and understand what it takes to run a high-standard pub/restaurant operation.
A "Hands-on" Leader and Trainer: They are looking for an individual who is "hands-on" and sets a strong example for the staff. You must have proven experience in training and developing team members, actively sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm.
Exceptional People Management Skills: You must be able to lead the team, motivate them, effectively delegate tasks, and foster a positive work atmosphere.
Product Knowledge: A willingness to share and develop knowledge about a wide range of beers, wines, and cocktails.
Passion and Drive: A genuine love for the industry and the energy to see the pub thrive.
