General Manager - Ross on Wye
£30,000 per annum and profit Share
Catering Services International are currently recruiting a General Manager for a privately owned and recently refurbished village pub established in the heart of the tranquil Wye Valley near Ross-on-Wye.
This 70 cover food led pub with high quality menus uses fresh local produce.
The General Manager will have a strong commercial acumen and cost control ability to lead a passionate and enthusiastic team of talented industry professionals.
The General Manager will be managing all aspects of the pub and will be encouraged and supported to develop the business.
The successful candidate must show an awareness of industry trends and have a proven track record in delivering exceptional standards to grow sales and profitability.
The right candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience as a General Manager with good knowledge of quality food, beers, ales and wines.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of country pursuits and mix well with the farming community and alike.
As an industry leader you should:
· Understand P&Ls inside out
· Have a proven track record of managing business costs
· Have a good knowledge of sales and marketing
· Be warm and charismatic
· Be prepared to act as an ambassador for the wider family business
