This small organisation is hoping to recuit an outstanding individual with experience of working in a school setting.
This is an independent special school for students aged 11 to 16 from across Gloucestershire. They specialise in working with parents, carers and other professionals to enable othe students to strengthen their social, emotional and mental health, whilst achieving academic outcomes, to enable them to access post 16 further education and employment.
They are looking for an individual to create a range of healthy, nutritious balanced lunches and snacks for their students. All students and staff receive a hot home cooked meal each lunch time, along with a range of healthy snacks throughout the week. A number of our students do not attend our school site and therefore require takeaway cold lunches.
About you;
You will have previous experience in a similar role.
Possess drive, passion, enthusiasm and ambition.
You will be able to evidence your experience with catering qualifications.
You should be calm, reliable, and independent, able to work alone.
Ability to produce high quality, healthy meals on a budget.
Previous experience of due diligence such as HACCP’S, Allergens.
Have a minimum Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
Be able to show understanding & compassion.
Have your own mode of transport.

Due to the nature of work in schools and contact with pupils, it is envisaged that all posts will require an enhanced DBS Disclosure and this position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
