  • £26,000 raising to £28,000 on successful completion of probation.

  • 45 hours per week over a 2-week rota (include weekends and evenings on a rotational basis.

  • 31 Days holiday per annum pro rata (inclusive of bank holidays, which are normal working days).

This exciting role is based is one of the UK’s leading rural attractions, based in The Cotswolds. They are growing fast, and are looking for the best people to help them on the next chapter of their journey.

 They are looking for a Chef de Partie, with a minimum of 2 years experience, to work on a full time, permanent basis, 5 days per week including up to 3 evening shifts during peak periods (Generally school holidays/summer months).

This is a multi- faceted role, great for someone keen to get involved in menu creation and learn the running of a large scale business! They would be involved in everything from the running of a busy outlet kitchen - preparing and cooking street food/pizzas/supporting in service in our busy restaurant kitchen, cooking burgers/pastas - cafe style on volume!

Skills and Experience

 To apply for the position of Chef de Partie you will need the following essential skills and experience:

- Previous catering experience.

- Possess a passion for food.

- Second to none customer service skills.

-A minimum of 2 years experience.

The Role;

· The Chef Team supports the provision of a Food and Beverage service across the site, from various outlets including a restaurant and bar, outlets, snack bars, delivered takeaway (on site) and cafes

· Their food service styles are designed to serve good quality fresh food, quickly, to a large volume of guests. These include fast casual dining, bar, pop up, street food outlets, takeaway, snacks, coffee and cakes.

· Their customers include their main audience of up to 1200 visitors per day, and their on-site accommodation guests of up to 400 per night in peak season. The main restaurant is outside of the main venue and attracts cyclists, walking groups, lunch visitors, and evening bar customers. In off peak times they are seeking to drive further demand to the site through developing their food offering.

· Menu and offering/service style will vary seasonally in line with the customer offering.

· To support this role, they are adding further seasonal chef roles to the team, alongside developing food models which can be delivered by team members without chef training.

· This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to work in a small, friendly team, delivering a variety of food service and menu offerings throughout the season. If you are looking for variety in your chef role, it will certainly be on offer here.

Key Responsibilities;

· Be competent in working across all sections within the kitchen including prep, running service, ordering and closedown.

· Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are always the highest quality

· Ensure and control levels of customer satisfaction and quality within set food costs.

· Support the rest of the team with prep and service and fully understand how the role contributes to the success of the business, and be confident to lead the team

· Build effective and constructive relationships, communicate clearly, professionally and concisely.

· Understand the customer and work with the Food Operations Manager to input into menu and service development, in contribution to our food strategy.
