Job Description

 

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who has an opening for a Head Waiter/Waitress within their stunning countryside hotel. Beautifully situated in West Sussex, this privately owned establishment offers its guests fine dining cuisine in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

 

Before continuing, please note that owing to its location, all applicants would need to have a full, clean driving licence and own transport.

 

Salary: £17.5-18.5k (Based on a 40-45 hour week)

Days: 5 out of 7

Holidays: 28 (inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Further benefits: Up to £1,000 bonus + an equal share of the tips.

Access to the gym after 3 months employment

A suitable candidate would:

 

Have experience as a Head Waiter/Waitress

Strong leadership skills and a desire to grow and develop

Visibly and Physically lead by example, ensuring the smooth running of the food and beverage and banqueting operations

To assist the F&B manager with all aspects of the F&B operation

To ensure the highest level of service at all times

Responsible for the training and development of the team, working closely with the F&B manager

Ensure that all shifts are focused on providing the highest levels of service at all times
