Job Description
A fantastic quality Brighton Restaurant have an opening for a Sous Chef at their beautiful establishment in the heart of the Lanes.
Working alongside the team, the Sous Chef would involve assisting with daily preparation. Cooking to order well presented, high quality dishes, and assisting in maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen. As an organisation they pride themselves on only working with the best fresh and local ingredients and want to work closely with the Sous Chef in their development.
An ideal candidate would be energetic, motivated and passionate about producing fantastic food.
Skills / Experience Required
- Be able to work under pressure, be an excellent communicator, organised and committed.
- Have a positive attitude and a passion for food and cooking
- Be a hands on team player with a keen understanding of kitchen management
- Compliance with the Health and Safety Act and COSHH regulations.
- Ensure that the handing over procedures and opening up /closing down.
Salary: £24-29K per annum
Hours: 2 days off a week, 42hrs, evenings off
Holidays: 28 days
