The Package

Basic salary of £17,680 with the potential to earn up to £22,000 when working over 40 hours for time and a half.

The Company

Our client, a prestigious school in East Sussex, is looking for a Chef de Partie to join their dynamic team. It is a fast paced environment with high volume where teamwork is essential. All food is made fresh on site and to a very high quality. High volume prep and service is experienced on a daily basis. Other events such as weddings and other prestigious dinners require applicants to have had experience in fine dining cooking methods and presentations.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will be preparing food and making sure it is fit to send out to students. You'll rotate stock and organize the relevant storage of goods. You'll train and supervise junior members of your team so they are all trained to the same standard. You'll be responsible for making sure your section is clean and maintain the correct health, hygiene and safety standards.

-Obtains at least an NVQ 2 in professional cookery
