The role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Sous Chef to join and assist in the day-to-day running of the kitchen department. Sous Chef candidates are expected to have experience in a similar establishment and have the ability to oversee and motivate a brigade, responsible for producing luxury cuisine. The successful Sous Chef candidate will have similar experience in a minimum of 2AA Rosette environment along with the at least 2 years experience in a busy multi-outlet establishment. The successful Sous Chef applicant will be responsible for controlling the department in the absence of the Head Chef along with ensuring the production of food for all outlets. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for developing junior team members and have a hands-on approach to the workload. Successful Sous Chef candidates will also have knowledge of departmental documentation along with being financially astute.
