Our client operates a quaint essential Country House Hotel in this stunning part of the South West. With a passion for refined service & quality dining, our client is looking to push forward and develop their offering in this gorgeous property.

The Role

We are recruiting for a passionate, focused and rosette savvy Head Chef to take charge of this exciting kitchen. The role of Head Chef will involve managing the Kitchen department and bringing new and fresh ideas to the table. The Head Chef will be responsible for developing the food offering to eventually lead to additional accreditation, focusing on the finest combinations of ingredients cooked and presented to modern standards.

The Head Chef will be responsible for creating and developing the team to achieve these standards, utilising their ideas and natural enthusiasm in the process.

The perfect Head Chef will be comfortable working to a 2AA+ Rosette standard and have a strong knowledge of creating an unforgettable menu, combining traditional and modern cooking methods.

What We Are Looking For

Successful individuals will be able to demonstrate the following:

· A strong working knowledge at a 2AA Rosette+ standard is required from all candidates.

· Excellent organisation and communication skills.

· Ability to combine traditional and modern techniques.

· Good knowledge of South West ingredients.

· Career minded individuals wishing to excel.

· Ability to control all aspects of a successful kitchen department including cost control, staff training and development along with due diligence documentation.
