High end restaurant with 2 rosettes cooking 2 rosette food.
The Role
As a Junior Sous you will be responsible running a section and working with the sous and head chef. Assisting junior members to prepare for service and be part of the team helping to push the food standards even higher and consistency. You will need to have a good basic understanding of food as well as confident knife skills. A passion for cookery, recipes and the determination to succeed is key.
This is a small working team and you must be very hands-on, have previous experience in similar establishments and work well under pressure. The operation will be open everyday and caters leisure guests for both lunch, dinner and afternoon teas.. The ideal candidate would be somebody who loves to work with fresh produce in a busy professional kitchen. Food wise, the restaurant is pushing for more accolades, so only fresh food and or rosette calibre chefs need apply.
