Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Chef Manager to oversee a multi site catering operation for a high volume retail park.The Chef Manager will have proven management experience but will mainly be working on the shop floor. Motivating the teams and making sure that customer service is paramount.


  • £38,000 - £42,000

  • Monday – Friday (Occasional weekends!)

  • Create weekly menus

  • Help lead a small team

The Chef Manager will also look after product presentation, inventory management, customer service, and insure the operation is working as clockwork.

Minimum exposure to admin and maximum exposure to service.

The right candidate will be a problem solver, positive and proactive, owning their responsibilities, ethical and compassionate but able to enforce rules. But most of all, a strong team leader.


  • Working 40 hours over 5 days a week

  • Set day time shifts

Your key responsibilities as the Chef Manager will consist of:


  • Proactively managing and supporting a catering team
