SUPERMARKET DELIVERY DRIVERS

CSI have been briefed on a new delivery driver role which may be coming up, so we are looking for people with the relevant experience.

Delivery Drivers

- Online Induction to be completed in advance - 1 x hour. CSI Provide an online link, for which you are paid.

- In-store induction - 4 x hours (to be arranged prior to shift)

 

The role

Drivers will be required to deliver customer orders to their homes. They will also be helping customers with click and collect orders, meeting and greeting customers and loading online orders into their cars.

 

Requirements for drivers (for information)

• Drivers must be at least 18 years old

• Hold UK/EU manual driving licence for 12 months + and no more than 6 points on licence

• Have experience of driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle within last 3 years or hold active Approved Driving Instructor qualification

• Must not have been banned previously

• Drivers would be expected to provide anti-slip footwear

• BASIC DBS check (in current climate, driver would be able to start work whilst the DBS check is still in progress)

• You would need to provide a DL check code Certification. CSI can provide the relevant government website link to obtain this.

• Good customer service skills

• Good communication skills
